Lo, what followed

Here sat I, thinking "well... a silly little one shot wouldn't hurt, it might even be fun (because my headcanon Axel likes to gyrate his hips and make lewd suggestions a lot)" Started writing it while at work because it was slow, paused when my hand cramped up something fierce (I have tendinitis so if I write for too long it starts feeling like a hot poker is in my arm) and decided to check my word count.

I was at 2,543 and wasn't even to the point of Axel seeking out the seabitch (no no, that's not a typo) and quickly realized this was going to eat my life/sanity. (and here I am, almost 3 a.m. again and still slamming out words)

My.Throat.is.so.sore. I bought a 3 1/2 lbs bag of peppermints and have been existing solely on that while at work but I think it's changing the chemical compounds of my innards.

also, I just had to give Tae-tae an emergency bath because there was blood on her tummy and we didn't have any puppy shampoo and I had to use Aussie but it didn't say you couldn't use it on pets and now I'm worried about her ;.;

In case you guys don't know, my IRL job is phone reservationist for a casino hotel. We actually have four properties and we handle all reservations in one central location. So one property will have a reservation number like so: Y1234, another one will be M1234, L1234, and R1234 (these are the actual letters we're using ATM).

My problem arises when we get to the "L" once a reservation is made my spiel goes like this:
"Okay sir/ma'am, your reservation number is going to be L, as in Larry, 1234." I'm very careful about enunciating and what not. And lately I've been getting a lot of this:

"O? There's no O in Larry!" and quite frankly I'm at my wits end with these people.

I don't normally rec things. I'm not sure why, I just...don't. But this video was full of too much cute not to share. If the song doesn't get you the adorable dancing chibi organization XIII members should.

Guys. Today. Wow.

I didn't fall asleep until like 2:30 in the morning and was woken up at 6:30 (because apparantly when you tell your mom "Wake me up before you leave for work" what you really mean is obviously "wake me up when you get up for work.") and today had a full agenda of "Go to Lake Charles (the next city over, 45 minute drive) and get my oil changed and treat the little brother to a movie." I also woke up to Mom bitching because one of our cats (finally) caught a mouse. Only it wasn't a neat death. There was a head a glob of intrails, and then the body strung throughout the living room... yea.

At this point in the morning, I did not want to go. I wanted nothing more than to crawl into bed and die. But go we did! Mainly because Buddy got dressed before I was even fully functional and giving me the happy face because he's desperately wanted to go see A Christmas Carol (in 3D). We did make it, jamming out to the KH piano collection along the way =).

Now, in case you missed my post over the summer about Buddy here's the lowdown: my little brother is downsyndrome. He's 20 but mentally he's about 9. So, like most little kids, he's really friendly. So he likes to say hi and introduce himself and talk about random nonsense. Most everyone is really good about this, they can tell he's just being nice and they humor him. One of the ladies who was also waiting to get her car serviced, in fact, humored him the entire time and even told him goodbye before she left.

Then, the douchebag walks in. He sits down right next to Buddy (dispite the other three empty seats that were farther away) and Buddy smiles at him, holds his hand out and says; "Um. Hi, my name's Buddy." The guy gave him this you offend my senses look and made Buddy make the wibble face.

I told Buddy to come sit next to me and I did my best to ignore the douchebag. The girl who worked reception made up for the tiny fail though. Apparantly she recognized Buddy from when Mom came to get her oil changed and when we went out to my car she came running out and hugged him goodbye.

We headed over to the local bookstore where I proceeded to buy more books I don't really need :3. One of them was volume 13 of Ouran Host Club, the only manga I actually keep up with anymore, four volumes of the Undead and Unwed series (a fun take on the vampire thing. Seriously, look it up. It's hilarious) and another book by the ever hilarious Christopher Moore which I can't read at work because I'm going to be laughing too ridiculously loud.

Onward and offward to the mall from there! In which I spent 40 dollars in Hot Topic treating Buddy to a "Team Jacob" shirt (hahahah) and buying myself This because I'm weak and ridiculous =/.

During lunch Buddy said some amazing things. Like:

"Jacob should turn into a wolf and eat Edward. He's gross."
and
"Ana. Watch. This is called 'acting'." *proceeds to growl at his pizza, tear a chunk out of it* "See? It's like a dead animal!"

He also flipped out in Hot Topic a bit because he saw a shirt of Bob Marley and thought it was Laurent from Twilight =/ I had to explain that it wasn't, but he kept giving the shirt the stink eye.

A Christmas Carol was absolutely amazing! We did go see it in 3D and I was fully expecting all kinds of cheap 3D tricks. But it wasn't like that at all. It was more about adding a depth to the movie, so it was like staring in a window at a real room. If you guys get the chance to go see it, definitely try for a 3D showing.

Now if you'll excuse me I have to go bash my head into the wall until I think of the new challenge for themusecafe
